The Beanie Collective

An initiative of Rosies - Friends on the Street

Why Choose Us?

The Beanie Collective is an initiative of Rosies - Friends on the Street as a way to engage with the community and raise much needed funds to support the individuals who visit us on outreach. We are very proud to partner with some wonderful knitting groups across South East Queensland who lovingly hand knit beanies, scarves, socks, and blankets for people in need and also for Rosies to sell in order to raise funds to keep our vans fully stocked and in the communities where we are needed most. All of the money raised will go directly to support the work that Rosies does across Queensland.

We are happy to support Rosies in any way that we can. It makes us happy to know that no matter what we make we are helping people in need, whether its them getting a beanie or Rosies selling our items to fundraise.

About Us

Rosies - Friends on the Street

store owner

Rosies - Friends on the Street is a volunteer based charity organisation that commenced in Queensland in 1987. Our mission is to provide community and connection to those who are homesless, at risk of homelessness, or socially isolated through hospitality. Just as if we were to offer a friend a tea or coffee to a friend who came into our home this is what we offer to our friends on the street. Whilst many organisations are increasingly providing awareness, support, and referral, Rosies focuses on providing friendship and unconditional acceptance during difficult times.
